Welcome to The Stern Estate — a beautifully renovated 3-bedroom guesthouse set on 6.2 private acres in the heart of Parksville, NY. This is the Catskills escape guests return to again and again: peaceful, private, and designed for genuine rest. The property Six acres of open fields, towering trees, and fresh country air surround you. Spend evenings gathered around the fire pit in Adirondack chairs with a full supply of firewood. Soak in the hot tub as the stars come out. Mornings belong to the screened sunroom — coffee in hand, birds outside, nowhere else to be. The guesthouse Fully furnished and renovated in 2023, blending modern design with warm country character. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and everything you need for a home-cooked meal. The dining table seats up to 8. The living room features a sofa, loveseat, and a propane fireplace — ideal for cozy evenings in. The expansive sunroom, accessible from the kitchen and dining area, offers lounge chairs, a dining table for 4, and soft curtains over screened walls for the full countryside experience. Just off the sunroom is a large outdoor deck, equipped with a dining table that seats 6 and a large overhead umbrella. In-unit washer and dryer included. While we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we want to inform you of the following: • Power outages may occur from time to time due to weather-related issues. We do have a back up generator that will provide limited electric power at times. • Extreme weather conditions, such as heavy snowfall, low visibility, and severe storms, are possible during certain seasons. • Access to the property and surrounding roads may be impacted by snow accumulation or adverse weather, so we recommend a vehicle equipped for winter driving (e.g., 4WD or AWD) during snowy months. • We encourage guests to plan accordingly and bring necessary supplies, including extra food, water, and warm clothing, in case of unforeseen circumstances. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we’re happy to answer any questions or provide additional details about what to expect. • Pet Policy: We only allow pets 50 lbs. and below, and your pet must be included on the booking before arrival and please let us know the breed. Our home is located in the beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature and abundant wild life. During your stay you may encounter deer, fox, coyotes, black bears, or other native animals. For your safety, admire the animals from a safe distant. Do not leave food, garbage or coolers outdoors. Our property is located in a rural mountain area, where hunting is permitted on surrounding lands during designated hunting seasons. As a result you may occasionally hear loud gunshots during daylight hours. While hunting is not permitted on our property, this is a normal part of the area during hunting season.
